Realism Vs. Idealism

Coronavirus

is a type of sickness that started in China early this year. It is moving very fast around the world. It is caused by very tiny things called viruses. The viruses can be found in the air we breathe and on all surfaces.  It has killed thousands of people in many countries of the world. It has been reported in Nigeria though few. The best thing to do is to avoid it. You can do this in the following ways:

Wash your hands with soap and warm water many times but most importantly when you get back home.

Avoid touching your face with hands that are not washed. This means don’t put your hands or fingers in your mouth, nose, and eyes.

Don’t eat any type of food when you have not washed your hands. Always eat wrapped food, for example, moi-moi, agidi, gala, biscuits, banana and others with the wrappers. Don’t take any food with unwashed hands into your mouth.

Wash fruits such as apple, guava, carrot, cucumber,

mango, and others with warm water before eating.

When you cough or sneeze, cover your mouth and your nose with a handkerchief. If you use your hands, don’t shake anybody’s hand until you have washed the hands.

Avoid handshakes. Avoid crowded places. If you attend events, use face masks that you can buy from any pharmacy.

Don’t allow your throat to be dry. Take liquids particularly clean water all the time.

If you feel sick, particularly if you have a cough, difficult breathing, fever, and so on, report to the nearest hospital. This is not a case of “God forbid; it is not my portion.” Prevention is wisdom; it is better than a cure.

The group of people to watch closely are old people and children. Help them to avoid Coronavirus.  If one person in a family is affected, the entire family can be wiped out if there is good medical attention. Psalm 91 verse 3 says God will protect you from traps and sicknesses that can kill you. Believe God’s promise but play your part first. Spread the message; don’t spread the virus. Stay alive. Stay safe.
